The client wanted to add a residential unit in an existing attic space. The attic sat above an art studio and would be accessed through the building’s existing condo hallway. The client requested a light-filled studio apartment with views over the water. In addition, a rooftop deck was incorporated to serve a separate apartment and provide outdoor living and scenic outlooks.
