This project is located in a remote Cree community on the Hudson Bay. The client requested a multigenerational, high-performance residence that would accommodate extended family living and operate efficiently in a harsh climate. The project was scheduled around the seasonal ice break so a supply ship could access the location with all materials. Additionally, there was a limited window for construction. The project included an ICF foundation and the use of OS Blocks on the exterior walls to provide durable &insulated assembly.
